The FPT Corporation and the Department of Information and Communications of Da Nang have just inked a strategic cooperation agreement on researching and developing technology and resources in the semiconductor and artificial intelligence (AI) industries. The cooperation will greatly contribute to making Da Nang one of the leading technology "localities" in Viet Nam.

Accordingly, the FPT Corporation will accompany Da Nang in researching and developing technology solutions, training human resources, granting scholarships, and offering job opportunities for students majoring in semiconductors and AI.

In addition to the microchip design that is continuing to be promoted in Da Nang, FPT will open new areas of advanced packaging and testing in high-tech parks and duty-free zones in the central coastal city.

Meanwhile, the municipal Department of Information and Communications will play a supporting role for strategic units such as FPT in carrying out investment procedures, leasing premises, recruiting human resources, and enjoying preferential policies in the city.

In Da Nang, the FPT Corporation has been present and developing for more than 20 years, bringing to Da Nang key human resources in software, IT, education, telecommunications, and retail industries.

Specifically, the FPT Corporation has built the FPT Complex which is recognised by the Prime Minister as the first concentrated IT park invested by enterprise capital in Da Nang in March 2023. FPT Complex contributes 69% of Da Nang's total software export turnover and plays an important role in attracting high-quality human resources from other places to work here.
