Orientation for international integration education

General Secretary To Lam affirmed that the "era of rising" is a breakthrough development period for Viet Nam, with the goal of becoming a modern industrialised country with high average income by 2030 and achieving high income by 2045, ensuring a prosperous, free and happy life for the people.

The explosion of AI and digital technology is opening up enormous potential, giving Viet Nam the opportunity to rise strongly. General Secretary To Lam stressed the necessity to promote digital transformation and invest in science and technology as the main driving force to achieve sustainable development. In this journey, education plays a central role, ensuring the training of high-quality human resources, meeting the requirements of international integration and globalization trends. This is an important key to help Viet Nam not only catch up but also pioneer in many strategic areas.

Decision 1600/QD-TTg dated December 19, 2024 of the Prime Minister clearly stated that international integration in education and training is one of the key tasks with the goal of expanding international cooperation, accessing advanced education systems and building an internationalized educational environment. The Central Government pays special attention to improving foreign language proficiency, of which English is the focus, helping students confidently enter the global labour market.

Da Nang and pioneering opportunity

Da Nang, a dynamic city in Central Viet Nam, is proving that it can become an international education centre with pioneering steps. The country’s leading training institutions such as Swinburne Viet Nam are making a breakthrough in bringing international education standards closer to the young generation. With the mission of "University of Success", Swinburne Viet Nam is committed to training generations of students who are not only good at their profession but also possess global skills, ready to integrate and adapt to the constant changes of the times.

Students studying at Swinburne Da Nang have the opportunity to access a training programme in the TOP 1% of the world, transferred from Swinburne University of Technology (Melbourne, Australia). In particular, the champions of the Road to Olympia competition are also receiving scholarships to transfer to study at Swinburne Australia, creating leverage for their journey to conquer knowledge and global job opportunities.

Swinburne Viet Nam focuses on training pioneering majors such as AI, data science, cybersecurity, Internet of Things and multimedia design. These majors not only provide a foundation of in-depth knowledge but also equip students with innovative thinking, helping them adapt to the strict demands of the international labor market. In addition, majors such as international business, marketing, logistics and communications are also designed to suit global development trends, meeting the needs of human resources in the digital age.

In addition to providing professional knowledge, Swinburne Viet Nam also concentrated on training essential skills of global citizens such as critical thinking, cross-cultural communication and self-leadership. The Global Citizenship Program with modern learning methods such as problem solving, debate and practical research helps students improve their English proficiency and confidently integrate into the international environment.

Students at Swinburne Danang also benefit from a flexible transfer programme, which allows them to study at other Swinburne campuses in Ha Noi, Ho Chi Minh City, Can Tho or even Australia. This diversity not only enhances the learning experience but also opens up opportunities for students to access advanced global educational environments.
