The Duc Tri Kindergarten - Primary and Secondary School held the opening ceremony of Totto-chan Park in Dong Lam Village, Hoa Phu Commune, Hoa Vang District, on Friday to mark its 35th birthday.

Inspired by the famous book "Totto-chan at the Window" by Japanese writer Tetsuko Kuroyanagi, the park is a new educational model designed to create an experiential learning space for school pupils, thereby encouraging their creativity.

Meritorious teacher Le Thi Nga, Principal of the school, said that the school's desire was to bring a space where each pupil can learn through experience and explore nature, and develop life skills in the most natural way.

Totto-chan Park was inspired by the famous work "Totto-chan at the Window" by Japanese writer Tetsuko Kuroyanagi.

Dang Khoa, a pupil of grade 8/2, couldnot hide his joy and confided “I like the creative area the most where I can do experiments and practice STEM. I like to come here to experience and practice lessons more often".

At the opening ceremony, Mrs. Anh Khoa, mother of Vu Hong Bao Nam, a 3^rd grader expressed her excitement "I am really impressed with Totto-chan Park. Here, children not only learn theory but also have practical experiences, thereby understanding the lessons more deeply and developing many important skills in life".

With thorough investment and long-term development orientation, the Totto-chan Park promises to become a typical model in experiential education, contributing to improving the quality of teaching and learning at the Duc Tri School in particular and the Da Nang education sector in general.

Many experiential and creative activities for pupils have been organized at the park.

Totto-chan Park is an important milestone in the school's 35-year journey of construction and development.
