The visit to the Military Zone 5 Museum in Da Nang serves as both a meaningful commemorative activity and a vivid history lesson, arousing patriotism and a sense of national pride among the pupils.

The Uncle Ho's stilt house, with its simple and familiar appearance, drew much attention from the students. The stilt house was not only the residence of President Ho Chi Minh but also a symbol of his humility, integrity and spirit of dedicated service to the people.

During the visit to the house, the pupils listened to stories about Uncle Ho's daily life, and his sleepless nights spent worrying about the fate of the country. They also learned about the beloved leader’s optimism and indomitable will. The image of Uncle Ho, who was both simple and familiar yet full of authority, left a deep impression on pupils’ hearts.

At the Ho Chi Minh Museum, the pupils learned about Uncle Ho's arduous but also glorious revolutionary journey. From the years of working abroad to find a way to save the country to the days of leading the revolution to victory, each artifact or each photo is historical evidence, telling a heroic story.

Pupils were deeply engaged as they observed valuable documents and listened to the tour guides recount the remarkable achievements of our army and people, as well as the heroic sacrifices made by revolutionary soldiers. The solemn atmosphere of the museum enhanced their understanding of the significance of independence, freedom, and national unity.

Nguyen Pham Duy Phu, an 11th-grade pupil at the Thanh Khe Senior High School, shared "I was very moved when I saw the historical artifacts with my own eyes. This tour helped me understand more about the life and career of Uncle Ho, as well as about the great sacrifices of the Party and our people to gain independence for the Fatherland. I feel that I need to study well to be worthy of the contributions of previous generations".

Ms. Nguyen Thi Kim Cuc, Head of the Literature group at the Thanh Khe Senior High School, highlighted the meaningfulness of the programme in helping pupils understand more about the history of the Party and the nation. “We hope that many similar programmes will be organized to educate students about revolutionary traditions, thereby helping them love their homeland and country more" she added.

As for pupils of the Nguyen Nhu Hanh Primary School based in Hoa An Ward in Cam Le District, the visit to the Military Zone 5 Museum was a meaningful experience. The trip left a lasting impression on the children, evoking many deep and unforgettable emotions. It served as not only an annual extracurricular activity but also a vivid history lesson, deeply engraved in the children's memories.

As they stood in front of the artifacts and heroic images of revolutionary soldiers, many children were moved to tears. Their emotions were shown not only on their faces but also in their questions and exclamations, which were filled with admiration for the heroic sacrifices made by their ancestors.

Mr. Hoang from the Nguyen Nhu Hanh Primary School, stated "This trip is not merely a simple extracurricular activity, it also serves as an important lesson in educating civic awareness among pupils. Throughout the trip, the school pupils learned about Uncle Ho's moral example and style, which helped cultivate their love for their homeland and country".

He also emphasised that this experience will aid in educating pupils about morality and lifestyle, ultimately helping them become responsible citizens.

The visit to the Military Zone 5 Museum is not only a useful and interesting activity but also has a profound educational meaning for the pupils. It helps them understand more about the history of the nation, the life and great career of President Ho Chi Minh. In particular, the trip fosters a great love and respect for Uncle Ho - the great leader of the Vietnamese people. Such practical activities play a vital role in instilling a sense of patriotism and national pride in the younger generation.
