The University of Education and Science - the University of Da Nang held a conference on Saturday to orient start-up and innovation activities during the 2025-2030 period and launched the contest "Student Start-up - Leading the Future 2025"

The signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between the University of Education and Science - the University of Da Nang and the Da Nang Innovation Startup Support Centre.

Speaking at the conference, Deputy Director of the municipal Department of Science and Technology Le Thi Thuc highly praised the University of Education and Science for its great efforts in contributing to the development of science, technology and innovation in the city.

The university has paid special attention to scientific research activities through the implementation of research topics at the municipal and national levels and the organisation of start-up and scientific research competitions among students.

According to Associate Professor Dr. Nguyen Van Hieu, Vice Rector of the University of Education and Science, the school has been implementing many programmes and projects to support students with start-up activities. At the same time, it has facilitated students to realise their ideas, apply knowledge into practice, and connect with businesses and investors.

The University of Education and Science is not only a traditional educational institution, but is gradually developing into a unique innovative university, promoting the connection between education - research - businesses - community.

In the 2025-2030 period, the school will concentrate on building a comprehensive start-up environment; enhancing training and equipping start-up skills; promoting research and technology transfer; and strengthening cooperation with enterprises, investment funds and start-up support organizations.

Also at the conference, representatives of the municipal Department of Science and Technology introduced the city’s support policies for start-up and innovation activities. In addition, start-up enterprises and investment funds shared knowledge, experience and trends in this field.

On the occasion, the University of Education and Science signed cooperation agreements with partners such as start-up centres and enterprises, and investment funds, to promote start-up and innovation activities at the school.

To encourage the spirit of creativity and entrepreneurship among students, the school launched the contest "Student Start-up - Leading the Future 2025". The intention of the contest is to bring creative start-up ideas, contributing to promoting the spirit of innovation in the higher education environment.
