The Politburo has decided to waive all tuition fees for pupils from kindergarten to high school in the public school system nationwide. This policy will take effect from the beginning of the 2025-2026 academic year. This humane and popular policy has immediately created a positive effect, bringing joy to millions of pupils and their parents, and receiving support from the whole society.

Mr. Pham Tan Ngoc Thuy, Deputy Director of the Da Nang Department of Education and Training: A breakthrough decision to develop the country's future

The Politburo's decision has had a positive impact, contributing to changing the lives of millions of families, especially the poor. From now on, all children can go to school without the pressure of tuition fees, and that is an important premise to create a new generation of citizens with knowledge and opportunities for comprehensive development.

This decision not only brings immediate benefits, but is also a strategic investment for the future of the country. Our Party and State always determine that a country that wants to develop sustainably does not rely only on resources or technology, but more importantly, it must invest in people. And now, all pupils have the opportunity to access knowledge without being limited by economic circumstances. In other words, this is also a form of encouraging learning and talents, and long-term investment for the country's future.

In recent years, Da Nang has had a humane, specific and timely mechanism for education and training, in which the most prominent is the tuition-free policy for local pupils.

The 2024-2025 school year is the 4th consecutive year that pupils in the city have enjoyed the tuition free policy for 9 months. Thanks to the timely support of the city, many parents have reduced the financial burden on their children, especially for families with many children.

Mr. Nguyen Nhuong, Vice Chairman of Lien Chieu District People's Committee: Encouraging human resource development

Recently, the Party and the State have made two extremely important decisions, imbued with a humanitarian spirit, which are to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses and exempt tuition fees for pupils from kindergarten to high school in the public school system nationwide.

People of the city in general and Lien Chieu District in particular are excited and happy at the Politburo’s decision. In addition to demonstrating the superiority of the regime and the progress of the country, the policy is a solution to encourage human resource development in the period of national digital transformation.

Ms. Hoang Thi Khanh Ly, Deputy Director of Continuing Education Center No. 3: The dream of pupils nationwide has come true

The Politburo's decision is a humane step, opening up equal learning opportunities for the young generation of Viet Nam. This policy is not only financial support but also affirms that education is the right of everyone, no one is left behind.

In Da Nang - one of the leading localities in investing in education, the tuition exemption policy is even more meaningful. The city already has many support programmes for poor pupils and pupils with disabilities. Now with the common policy nationwide, the city's education and training sector has more conditions to develop more comprehensively. Pupils not only study in a good environment but also have more motivation to excel.

The public school tuition fee waiver not only helps reduce the financial burden on families but also brings long-term value to the country. When all pupils go to school, knowledge becomes a common foundation for social development. A developed education system will create knowledgeable citizens, thereby building a fair, humane and prosperous society.

Mr. Phan Huu Dung, Deputy Head of the Office of Education and Training of Hoa Vang District: Imbued with a profound humanistic spirit

The tuition free policy is a decision imbued with a profound humanistic spirit, demonstrating the concern of our Party and State for education and training.

This is also a premise for moving towards universalizing senior high school, and realizing the policy of "education is the top national policy" set by the Party and State. Moreover, this policy will contribute to bringing education in mountainous and remote areas closer to education in developed regions and areas.

Mr. Le Van Toi, Man Thai Ward, Son Tra District: My family is very happy and excited

As a father of 4 children of school age, I understand the financial burden of parents, especially poor families. I was really happy at hearing that starting from the 2025-2026 school year, students from kindergarten to senior high school will be completely exempted from tuition fees.

This is a humane and popular decision of the Party and State which helps people reduce the financial burden, especially for families in difficult circumstances, or in remote areas. With this policy, children from families in difficult circumstances will have more opportunities to go to school and enjoy advanced, modern education.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Nhu, Hoa Tho Dong Ward, Cam Le District: Equal opportunity to go to school for all pupils

The humane policy of the Politburo has helped parents save a significant amount of money every month. The tuition fee for each pupil may not be too much, but in addition to tuition, parents also have to pay many other expenses such as food, boarding care, and extracurricular activities.

Tuition may be a small amount for many people, but for families with economic difficulties, this is truly a very humane policy to reassure people that no matter what the conditions, their children can still be guaranteed the opportunity to go to school.
