As of 4.30 pm on 5 June, the number of confirmed coronavirus (known as Covid-19) cases around the world has jumped to 6,714,464.

There were no new coronavirus (Covid-19) cases reported in Viet Nam for an entire 24-hour period as of Friday morning, and the country has remained unchanged in its case numbers at 328, the latest official data released by Viet Nam's National Steering Committee for Covid-19 Prevention and Control. Viet Nam has recorded no new domestic transmissions for 50 consecutive days. Overall, 307 patients have recovered from the illness, and there have been no coronavirus deaths in Viet Nam till date. 

Thus far six people have been diagnosed with the disease in Da Nang, and all of them have been cleared of the virus.
