As of 4.30 pm on 8 June, the number of confirmed coronavirus (known as Covid-19) cases around the world has jumped to 7,093,121.

Viet Nam's National Steering Committee for Covid-19 Prevention and Control on Monday morning announced two more imported Covid-19 case, bringing the country's overall tally to 331. Viet Nam has gone 53 days without a domestically transmitted infection with no deaths. Till date, 316 patients have recovered from the illness. 

Thus far six people have been diagnosed with the disease in Da Nang, and all of them have been cleared of the virus.
