As of 4.30 pm on 9 June, the number of confirmed coronavirus (known as Covid-19) cases around the world has jumped to 7,189,571.

No new cases of coronavirus were recorded in Viet Nam on Tuesday morning, Viet Nam's National Steering Committee for Covid-19 Prevention and Control said. Viet Nam has gone 54 consecutive days without a domestically transmitted infection and has registered a total of 332 cases, with no deaths. In total, 192 of the confirmed cases were overseas arrivals, and they were quarantined on arrival. Till date, 316 patients of the confirmed cases have recovered.

Thus far six people have been diagnosed with the disease in Da Nang, and all of them have been cleared of the virus.
