From January 1, 2022, in rural areas, a household is poor if it has a monthly per capita income of VND 1,500,000 or lower, instead of VND 700,000 as before, according to Decree No. 07/2021/ND-CP stipulating the multidimensional poverty line for the 2021 - 2025 period. Accordingly, the monthly support amount of the State for voluntary social insurance payers and the lowest voluntary social insurance payment in 2022 will also increase.
