The adenovirus has been known to cause respiratory diseases. This is an acute viral disease and has diverse clinical symptoms. Adenovirus has the ability to spread quickly and can cause many dangerous complications such as respiratory failure, sepsis, and multi-organ failure if not treated promptly. Since August 2022, the Vietnam National Children's Hospital has recorded an increase in the number of hospitalized children infected with Adenovirus.
