Viet Nam economic overview over 11 months of 2022

On average, in the 11 months of 2022, Viet Nam’s CPI increased by 3.02% over the same period in 2021, mainly due to food prices and petrol prices. The trade balance of goods recorded a trade surplus of 10.6 US$ billion (US$ 0.6 billion in the same period in 2021). A total of 194.7 thousand enterprises registered for new establishment and resumed operation across Viet Nam, up 33.2% over the same period last year. FDI poured into the country reached nearly US$ 25.14 billion, down 5% compared to the 11- month period last year.
