According to the World Health Organization (WHO), the XBB variant of the SARS-CoV-2 virus has spread to over 70 countries. Viet Nam has recorded the occurrence of XBB variant in Tay Ninh Province and Ho Chi Minh City. Therefore, WHO has recommended that people should take the same precautions with XBB variant as we have taken for other sub-variants of Omicron and COVID-19 in general.
