According to the registered cycle, vehicles must undergo periodic inspections at authorized inspection centres in compliance with the regulations. Here are some inspection procedures that drivers should know to save time during the inspection process, along with some important notes.
Submit the inspection documents:
Before going for inspection, people need to prepare the following documents:
-3 copies of identity card or passport (authenticated or bring the original for verification)
-3 copies of household registration book (authenticated or bring the original for verification)
-Vehicle documents (vehicle registration, VAT invoice, factory certificate, vehicle quality certificate)
-Scan chassis number, engine number, and submit tax declaration form as prescribed
- Original copy of civil liability insurance
-Vehicle inspection declaration form as prescribed
Wait for the turn to inspect the vehicle:
After receiving the documents, the staff will inspect the vehicle's condition and environmental protection. The inspection center will charge a VND 50,000 inspection fee when the vehicle meets the inspection requirements. If any issues or technical safety concerns are found, the vehicle owner will be notified to make the necessary repairs.

-Upper part inspection includes checking the windshield, wipers, steering wheel, and steering system.
