The Cau Ngu Festival is one of the long-standing traditional festivals of Thanh Khe District, Da Nang, affirming its fame as a characteristic product of the coastal fishing community in Central Viet Nam, associated with the belief in worshipping whale - the guardian deity of fishermen. This year, the official festival will take place from 7:00 am to 10:30 am on February 29 at the Ha Khe Beach Park, Nguyen Tat Thanh Street, Xuan Ha Ward, Thanh Khe District, Da Nang, featuring many outstanding rituals and festival programmes.
