Trami, the sixth tropical storm to hit the East Sea this year, is heading toward central Viet Nam before likely changing its direction to go back to sea, according to the National Centre for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting. Due to the influence of the storm, localities from Quang Binh to Quang Ngai are experiencing heavy downpours. In the face of complicated developments of the storm, local people need to stay vigilant and play a more active role in response to the natural disaster in a bid to promptly reduce damage, especially during prolonged heavy rains.
