The Thach Tan sedge mat-making village is located in Tam Thang Commune, Tam Ky City, Quang Nam Province.

The village is widely known for its long-established sedge mat-making.  In addition to their agricultural activities, the village residents have preserved and developed this traditional craft, and some local families derive their main income from it.

Danang Today would like to share with our readers some photos of the sedge mat-making process.  They were taken by Tan Vinh, a freelance photographer for Danang Today.
