The Dien Bien Phu victory on 7 May 1954, which ended the 9-year French colonial rule in Viet Nam, was mainly achieved by the strong determination of the Vietnamese army and people.

To mark the 61st anniversary of this historic event, Danang Today would like to share with our readers some photos, selected from the “Dien Bien Phu Today” photo collection.  The photos were taken by Huy Dang, a freelance photographer for Danang Today.
