An awards ceremony was recently held in Quang Nam Province’s Tam Ky City for the 21^st South Central Region and Highlands Artistic Photography Festival which took place in the province between May and July.

The contest’s organisers received 2,026 entries from 289 amateur and professional photographers in 10 regional localities.

Of the 141 entries by photographers from Da Nang, 38 were selected for display at a recent photo exhibition at the Quang Nam Province Cultural Centre in Tam Ky City.  Of those, 5 won awards at the festival and Da Nang took the lead in the number of prize-winning photos.

‘Dem Ba Na’ (Ba Na Hills Resort at Night) by Huynh Van Truyen …

… and ‘Bien Cua Dai’ (Cua Dai Beach) by Nguyen Cong Hung shared a consolation prize.
