DA NANG Today
Published: January 28, 2017

Despite no fireworks displays in Da Nang to welcome in the 2017 Lunar New Year and the cold weather, a large number of local residents poured into streets to wait for the turning moment of the lunar new year.

In particular, a musical performance to welcome in the Tet Festival at a park near the eastern end of the Rong (Dragon) Bridge drew a great deal of attention from both locals and visitors.

Here are some photos, taken by our reporter Minh Tri, which depict the bustling Lunar New Year's Eve atmosphere in the city.
