Nestled in Tung Son Village in Hoa Vang District’s Hoa Son Commune, about 20 km west of Da Nang, the Tung Son Oratory was put into use in 1904, and it boasts special architectural design.
Photographers Thu Thao and Thuc Nghi, freelancers from the DA NANG Newspaper, captured beautiful photos of this venue during their recent trip there.
The over 15,000m2 oratory faces the south-east direction. It has been well preserved since its last refurbishment in 1989. It is a place for the Tung Son Catholic followers in the Phu Thuong Parish to perform their religious rituals and practices. |
The around 15m-high oratory features French Gothic architecture, with a total of three 3.9m-high entrance gates. |

The building and decoration of the site’s front wall is imbued with Gothic architecture. |
The venue features many domes and rose patterns. |
