On Saturday night, a performance by Atlas PyroVision (Team USA) really aroused indescribable emotions in the spectators.

The perfect synchronisation of music and fireworks in a unique design, the collaboration of ground elements with sky elements, and the special compositions of colours produced a mightily impressive performance from beginning to end.

Notably, music served as a bridge connecting the past and the present.

The US team thrilled the viewers with perfect shapes painted in the city sky during their show which conveyed meaningful messages of creativity, culture, dreams, innovation and, of course, friendship.

In particular, the show also highlighted the profound pride, the undaunted courage and indomitable fighting spirit of Viet Nam. The deep impressions about the Han River across which beautiful bridges span really inspired the US contestants to produce such a wonderful pyrotechnic display.

Through the use of the most advanced fireworks effects, the meticulously-prepared performance by the US contestants utilised classical songs which made their debuts between 40 and 50 years ago, along with modern melodies in a bid to convey messages during the show.

In detail, at the beginning of the display, hi-tech music was used, and then combined with romantic tunes, thereby arousing indescribable emotions in the spectators as they immersed themselves in peaceful moments, and then, there came the pace builds creating layer upon layer of increasing strength leading to a triumphant climax.

“It doesn’t matter if you are black, yellow, brown or white. We all live on this planet together! Let’s enjoy miracles-of-life”, said Mr Stephen Thomas Pelkey, the US team’s leader, prior to the performance.

A total of 600 low and high-level firecrackers belonging to different types were used by the US contestants.
