The Da Nang - Summer Rendezvous programme 2018 is taking place at the East Sea Park and some local popular tourist attractions from 16 - 20 June.

During the 5-day programme, a wide range of fascinating cultural and sporting activities are being held at the Park, beaches, the Son Tra Peninsula, and along both banks of the Han River.

In particular, the Da Nang Pop and Rock Bands Open Festival will take place tonight at the main stage at the East Sea Park.

From 6.00pm - 11.00pm, today, visitors will have the opportunity to enjoy free films at an area in front of the Holiday Beach Danang Hotel and Resort, 300 Vo Nguyen Giap.

In addition, numerous traditional folk games will be organised during the Xuan Thieu Nights programme on the Nguyen Tat Thanh Beach in the evening of 19 and 20 June.

From 16-20 June, a photo exhibition featuring beautiful images of the city’s tourism, food and beer festivals, a kite festival, coracle decoration and arrangement, along with stalls selling souvenirs and introducing the city’s tourism stimulus programme, will also be held at the East Sea Park.

Meanwhile, fascinating street music performances will take place at the Han River banks from 18-20 June.

Mr Nguyen Xuan Binh, Deputy Director of the municipal Tourism Department, said this year’s event is on a larger scale and more imposing than previous years’, bringing more impressive and fascinating arts programmes to visitors. He hoped that the event would provide locals and visitors with unforgettable experiences in the city.
