The Thanh Son and Yen Lap mountainous districts of Phu Tho Province are now home to over 11,000 Dao ethnic people living in 28 small villages. There are 2 Dao subgroups namely Dao Deo Tien or Dao Tien (Dao with coins), and Dao Quan Chet (Dao with tight trousers).
Our freelance photographer Huy Dang recently made a trip to Sinh Tan Village in Thanh Son District and captured a set of photos showing the beauty of Dao Tien ethnic people there.
Let’s look at some amazing photos from his collection to discover the daily lives of this beautiful ethnic group.
The Dao Tien are so called because they use coins to decorate their traditional clothing. |
