A fine arts exhibition entitled ‘Colours of Year of the Pig 2019’ is taking place at the Da Nang Fine Arts Museum, 78 Le Duan Street, from 21 January - 14 February.

Co-organised by the municipal Fine Arts Association and the Museum, the exhibition features over 50 works by 18 local painters. They varied their displayed works from oil paints to synthetic charcoal, watercolours, and more.

Most of the displayed paintings take the inspiration from the pig because 2019 is Year of the Pig. The pig is a symbol of prosperity, fertility, and lots of good luck.

In addition, there are paintings showcasing the beauty of women and spring flowers.
