The Son Tra Peninsula is always a top choice for visitors to Da Nang thanks to its pure air, and such popular tourist attractions as the Linh Ung Pagoda, the Bai But, Tien Sa and Bai Cat Vang tourist sites, the thousand-year-old banyan tree, and the Ban Co (Chess Board) Peak.

Amongst of these inviting venues on the peninsula, Ghenh Bang (Bang Rapids) is considered as a pristine gem that has yet to be fully exploited for tourism development.

The journey to this tourist site is not really easy and quite dangerous. After riding a distance of 20km along Hoang Sa Street from the centre city to the peninsula, you must park your motorbikes and then walk across a 1km-long forest road with high slopes and many luxuriant trees. You must pay close attention to the road to avoid slipping or straying in this forest.

At the end of the treacherous journey, Ghenh Bang appears in front of your eyes with the pristine and magnificent beauty as a reward for your efforts to wade through the forest.

Let’s explore the pristine natural beauty of this beautiful site in amazing photos captured by our reporter Xuan Son showing readers how inviting it is.
