The Da Nang sky is being beautifully dotted with a total of more than 100 kites in different shapes, sizes and colours during an art kite festival held along a beach in front of the East Sea Park from 27 - 29 April.

The 3-day event is being jointly held by the Da Nang Culture and Movie Centre, and the Ho Chi Minh City-based Kite Sky Club.

Under the event’s schedules, the kite-flying activities take place from 9.00am - 11.00 am, and from 1.30pm – 5.00pm, featuring art kite-flying performances requiring tough silks between 3.00pm and 5.00pm daily, and a contest to decorate kites exclusively held for children on Sunday from 4.30pm – 6.00pm.

Artistic kites soaring high in the sky is a highly inviting sight which adds more exciting atmosphere to the city's beaches, hereby helping to satisfy the demand for sightseeing and entertainment amongst locals and holidaymakers arriving in the seaside city. It is great to see many people of all ages looking skyward and took many great photos and video of the beautiful sky filled with colourful kites.
