From 16 - 25 April, a delegation, comprising representatives from departments, agencies, and organisations, along with reporters from media agencies nationwide, made a journey to Khanh Hoa Province’s Truong Sa Archipelago and the marine defence platform DK1.

The visiting delegation was led by Rear Admiral Ngo Sy Quyet, Deputy Commander of the Viet Nam People's Navy High Command. Meanwhile, municipal People’s Committee Vice Chairman Tran Van Mien was responsible for leading a group of 50 visitors from Da Nang.

The mainland guests from Da Nang visited and presented gifts, totalling 2.8 billion VND, to naval officers and men, and locals living on 11 islands of the archipelago.

In addition, they attended an inauguration ceremony of the city-funded multi-purpose cultural house on the Da Lat Island.

Below are some nice photos captured by our reporters Truong Cong Dinh and Thanh Trung during this memorable journey.
