‘Bien Ho’ freshwater lake, locally known as Ia Nueng or T’nung, is about 7km northwest of Pleiku City.
Covering nearly 300ha with an average depth of 18m, Bien Ho is the oval-shaped crater of a volcano that erupted millions of years ago.
The freshwater lake is full of turquoise water all year round, and it looks like a giant mirror, reflecting the clouds and blue sky.
Bien Ho is truly a wonderful place for domestic and international arrivals to explore. It is also a source of water for the lives of the people in the Pleiku Plateau. Therefore, it is considered a gift endowed by nature for the highlanders.
Let's discover the beauty of the lake through stunning photos captured by our freelance photographer Doan Vuong Quoc from Quang Ngai Province.
