Inside the frontline hospital in the city's coronavirus battle
The Da Nang General Hospital has become a key facility in the city to treat coronavirus patients. Since January 2020, has begun to follow strict infection prevention and control measures in receiving and treating infected patients that meet the World Health Organisation’s standards. These measures help protect the hospital's staff from coronavirus, and reduce the transmission of the virus in the hospital.
Thus far, the Da Nang General Hospital has treated a total of six patients, and all of them have left the hospital following three negative tests. They have been discharged from hospital having made a full recovery from the illness.
