Of Quang Ngai Province’s districts, Son Ha and Son Tay districts are hailed to possess the most beautiful terraced fields which look like eye-catching shining pools as farmers get another crop underway.

Compared to the rice harvest season during which terraces shine a golden yellow, the waterlogged ones are no less stunning as they vividly reflect the bright summer sun.

Farmers flood the fields soon after the first summer rains and start transplanting rice seedlings for the new crop. The watering season is a time when photography enthusiasts rush there to capture these ‘spectacular collages’.

Let’s take a look at nice photos below captured by our freelance photographer Doan Vuong Quoc to admire the charming beauty of waterlogged terraces.
