Around 16 kilometres from the centre of Quang Ngai City and 200 meters from My Khe Beach, the centuries-old Tinh Khe nipa palm forest on the seven-kilometre-long Kinh Giang River attracts a great deal of attention from locals and tourists due to its highly inviting features.

As compared to such other palm groves as the popular Bay Mau grove near Hoi An City, the centuries-old Tinh Khe nipa palm forest in Quang Ngai shows off untapped beauty. It is dubbed as the ‘green lung’ of this central coastal province, and is set to become an ecotourism hotspot in the near future.

In particular, the forest once served as a revolutionary base for guerilla fighters during the country’s resistance war.

Let’s admire the attractiveness of the Tinh Khe nipa palm forest through picturesque photos captured by our freelance photographer Doan Vuong Quoc. May these pics inspire you to pay a visit to this place so as to take boat tours to explore its charm, save souvenir moments and enjoy the fresh air.
