Explore Lao Xa Village in spring
Little-known Lao Xa Village in Sung La Commune, Dong Van District, Ha Giang Province, is increasingly becoming popular for domestic and foreign travellers, especially those who want to explore the beauty of the village, and learn about the daily lives of Mong ethnic minority group.
The village boasts its pristine beauty with traditional ‘trinh tuong’ (earthen) houses imbued with the cultural identity of Mong people. This type of house is typically built by using a mixture of clay and mud, covered by increasingly rare yin-and-yang tiled roofs.
Spring is an ideal time of the year to visit this village as peach, and plum trees here are in full bloom.
Let’s explore Lao Xa Village in spring through some amazing photos, captured by our freelance photographer Huynh Nam Dong from Da Nang during his recent trip to this place.
