Located along a road connecting two world-famous tourist cities of Los Angeles and Las Vegas, the Death Valley is a beautiful area of desert wonders and one of the top national parks in the United States.

Aside from such popular tourist destinations as Zabriskie Point and Badwater Basin, vast sand dunes known as Mesquite Flat are the most popular and most photographed tourist attractions in Death Valley.

The Mesquite Dunes are known for dramatic shadows at sunrise and sunset, as ripples and edges in the dunes stand out in greater contrast. They are also a great place to observe Death Valley’s famous dark night skies.

Let’s look at below photos, captured by our freelance photographer Nguyen Hai, to admire the incredible beauty of the Mesquite Flat sand dunes.
