Promoting the value of Nam O relic cluster after restoration

In mid-2021, work started on the over VND25 billion Nam O relic cluster restoration, embellishment and preservation project in Hoa Hiep Nam Ward, Lien Chieu District, Da Nang.

After restoration work, the cluster’s relic sites have become more spacious and beautiful, and cleaner, creating excitement for local residents and building a premise for developing local tourism in the future.

The Nam O relic cluster is positioned in the Nam O ancient fishing village in Hoa Hiep Nam Ward, Lien Chieu District. The municipal-level relic site consist of seven relic sites namely the Nam O Communal House, the Lieu Hanh Mother Goddess Temple, the Bo Bo Mother Goddess Temple, the Nam O Cemetery, the Nam O Whale Temple, the Nam O worship temple for souls, and the Lang Well.

All historical works and cultural institutions are associated with the religious and spiritual life of generations of the Nam O fishing villagers.
