The Ministry of Public Security on July 1 began issuing the new-style ordinary passports without electronic chips to Vietnamese nationals, in line with the national government's Circular No 73/2021/TT-BCA on passport specimens.
Forecasting a surge in the number of applications for the issuance of new-style ordinary passports, staff of the Immigration Management Division under the Da Nang Department of Police is implementing the 90-day-and-night campaign to handle the growing number of passport issuance-related dossiers in a proper, open, transparent and convenient manner in a bid to save time and costs for locals.
