Under the conclusion issued by the Da Nang Party Committee on the construction and development of Son Tra District to 2030 and the following years, the coastal district focuses on economic development in the direction of service, industry - construction, agriculture, forestry and fishery.
 
Top priority will be given to maximising all available resources to develop services into a key economic sector, and tourism and high-quality services are spearhead economic sectors.
 
At the same time, importance will be attached to making adjustments to master plans and schemes in accordance with the city's socio-economic development master plans, aiming to ensure the consistency, synchronisation and feasibility.
 
Special attention will be paid to zoning and detailed planning of tourist areas, and well performing the tasks related to the project to build Da Nang into a financial hub.
