When it comes to cloud hunting, people often think of the Ta Xua Village in Son La Province, known as ‘cloud paradise’. However, visitors to Quang Ngai Province can still hunt clouds as well as immerse themselves in the mountain winds by going to the top of the VioLak Pass.

Located on the National Highway No.24, the top of VioLak Pass lies at the geographical boundary between Quang Ngai and Kon Tum provinces.

The VioLak Pass winds through many mountains and valleys. Positioned at about 1,300m above sea level, the top of the pass is covered by white clouds all year round.

Although it is not as famous as Hai Van Pass or Ngang Pass that bring an endless source of inspiration to photographers, musicians and poets nationwide, the VioLak Pass is increasingly becoming a favourite spot of cloud hunters.
