These fishing trips at the beginning of the year are always important to fishermen because of the desire for the whole year with favourable weather conditions and bumper catches of seafood.

Deputy Director of the Management Board of Tho Quang Fishing Port and Wharf Nguyen Lai said that in early 2023, taking advantage of relatively favourable weather conditions, a large number of fishing vessels have registered to reach out to the sea. In the first days of the year, an average of 50 - 60 ships do procedures to leave the wharf.
