The Biotechnology Centre located in Hoa Tho Tay Ward, Cam Le District under the Da Nang Department of Science and Technology announced on Saturday that its out-of-season ‘cuc hoa mi’ (pure-white daisies) garden in 2023 is in full bloom and opens its door to the public to visit and take photos.

Dr. Nguyen Quyet, Head of Plant Cell Technology Office of the Biotechnology Center, said that thanks to the warm and favorable post-Tet weather, daisies are larger and more beautiful than the previous years' crops. The center's staff and technicians always make every effort to give the best care for the flowers so as to create an attractive 'check-in' point for locals and visitors in the city

The daisies are scientifically named Matricaria Chamomilla, belonging to the Asteraceae family. They are also called ‘flower heralding the arrival of winter’ because they spring up in rows in late autumn when the weather becomes cooler.
