The Han River Bridge is considered as the symbol and the great pride of Da Nang. The bridge, the first of its kind in Viet Nam, was designed and constructed by Vietnamese engineers and workers in two years.

The 11-span bridge is 487.7m long and 12.9m wide, connecting main road of Le Duan on the western bank of the river and Pham Van Dong on the eastern bank.

Since it was officially opened to traffic in 2000, the bridge has not only facilitated transport, promoted the development of tourism, and stimulated rapid growth on the eastern bank of the Han River and along the coast, but also has been a cultural hallmark of the people of Da Nang today left behind for the future generations.

The bridge swings from 11:00pm - midnight on weekends, becoming an interesting check-in point for many tourists.
