After nearly 20 years of waiting, the National Volleyball Championship 2023 returned to Da Nang thanks to recent good performances of the local men's volleyball team.

After nearly 10 exciting days of competition at Da Nang's Tien Son Sports Arena, the second round of the 2023 National Volleyball Championship concluded on the evening of November 12.

After 4 rounds, 4 female teams took turns leading Group C and won tickets to the final round. They were Ninh Binh (18 points), Information Corps (16 points), Thai Binh (13 points), Industry and Trade Bank (5 points). Ho Chi Minh City team bid farewell to the tournament and were relegated after finishing at the bottom of the table with 3 points.

Round 2 took place from November 3 - 12. Da Nang hosted two groups for men and women. Men's Group D included Ninh Binh, Ha Noi, Binh Duong and Border Guard. Women's Group C consitsed of Ninh Binh, Information Corps, Thai Binh, Industry and Trade Bank and Ho Chi Minh City.
