Yen Valley's vineyard located in Nam Yen Village, Hoa Bac Commune, Hoa Vang District, is drawing much attention from many people and tourists. |
These days, Yen Valley’s vineyard is in the last days of the harvest season before the storm and flood season. Perhaps that is why this place is currently becoming a favourite tourist destination for locals and visitors to visit, harvest grapes by hand, take pictures and enjoy products derived from grapes. This is one of the pilot models for developing agricultural tourism in Hoa Vang District.
Covering an area of about 3,000m2, the vineyard features 1,000 grape vines.
The owner of the vineyard, Mr. Le Quoc Hien, who is temporarily residing in Nam Yen Village, Hoa Bac Commune, said "Grape varieties are sourced from Ninh Thuan Province with certification papers and care techniques. The garden house supports from seedlings to technology transfer, so thanks to the right way of doing things, the grapes have produced fruit in Da Nang's climate. The entrance fee to the vineyard is currently VND150,000/person. Also, tourists can camp or dine there", Mr. Hien added.
Ms. Nguyen Thi Thuy Van, residing in Hai Chau District, said that she was very excited to experience and pick grapes herself.
"I learned about this vineyard on social networking sites, so I decided to come here even though I had to travel a long way to get here. This is the first time I have picked grapes myself and enjoyed them right in the garden. I was very impressed by the spacious, cool space here. The grape picking experience was really meaningful and new".
