At the beginning of November every year, white reeds begin to bloom in many locations across Da Nang, creating an extremely romantic scene.
|
White reeds are in full bloom in Da Nang from early November to late December, attracting many people, especially the young, to come and take pictures. |
The white reeds, also known as cogon grass, here have tall, straight stems, stout, white cotton, which are better than the reeds in all other places like Ha Noi.
As recorded, the vacant land lots on Le Van Duyet Street and at the end of Le Duc Tho - Hoang Sa route in Son Tra District have turned poetic recently when the reed flowers bloomed all at once, attracting many people to come and take pictures.
The best time to take pictures with reeds is early morning and late afternoon. When they first bloom, the flowers are pure white, after a while they will turn yellow. In the afternoon, the white reeds blend with the golden sunlight right next to the Thuan Phuoc Bridge or the area near Man Thai Beach, creating a poetic beauty.
Mr. Vo Tuan Kiet, residing in Hoa Xuan Ward, Cam Le District, shared "Every November, my colleagues and I take the opportunity to come here after work to take photos with the white reeds at sunset. The white reeds fluttering in the wind look very beautiful and bring a sense of peace. This is also the place I have just introduced to my friends abroad so that when they have the opportunity to visit Da Nang, they will come here to find a sense of relaxation".

When coming here to capture moments with the white reeds, visitors can also enjoy a panoramic view of the high-rise buildings. |
