Da Nang dwellers and tourists have been overwhelmed by a spectacular Christmas tree featuring 2,000 traditional conical hats at the Phu Ha Parish in Hoa Son Commune, Hoa Vang District.

At the Phu Ha parish in Hoa Son Commune, Hoa Vang District, parishioners have been creative and made a Christmas tree from thousands of conical hats to celebrate this year festive season.

To complete a pine tree which is tens of meters long, local people had to come up with the idea in October and started working in November.

To arrange the conical hats into a sturdy pine tree, each conical hat is decorated with a light bulb, tinsel, ball, and Christmas-themed motifs, highlighting its brilliant, creative beauty.

In addition to the Christmas tree, the church is also decorated with many Christmas-related miniatures.

According to the representative of Phu Ha parish, the conical pine tree will be kept until Lunar New Year 2025 to serve the sightseeing needs of the people and tourists.
