The tournament attracted over 400 participants, including businesspeople and leaders from countries across the Asia-Pacific region such as Japan, South Korea, Thailand, Singapore, Malaysia, India, Mongolia, Taiwan (China), and more. The athletes competed in groups to determine the best golfers.

This is the first time JCI Da Nang has organized this event, with support from the Young Entrepreneurs Association of Ho Chi Minh City, aiming to create an opportunity for athletes to network and compete, and provide a platform for young entrepreneurs and leaders from the Asia-Pacific region to meet, exchange, and share experiences.

These projects include: Your Dreams Project aiming to spread knowledge and skills to parents in Da Nang about interacting with children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD);   Vietblood Project, a mobile application that connects blood donors with people in urgent need of blood; Train Project connecting resources to address the lack of career guidance and development opportunities for students in Central Viet Nam; Lighting Up Project Improving the quality of life for people in remote areas with insufficient lighting by installing solar-powered energy systems such as Tay Giang, Nam Giang in Quang Nam Province.

The tournament also aims to introduce the dynamic, open, and friendly business environment of Da Nang to international investors and businesspeople. It creates inspiration and opportunities for learning for the members of JCI Da Nang and JCI Viet Nam. Furthermore, it facilitates connections between Da Nang businesspeople and the international business community, opening up opportunities for investment and trade cooperation, while promoting Da Nang’s image to international friends.

JCI is a global non-profit organization for young leaders and entrepreneurs aged 18 to 40. It is a strategic partner of the United Nations in implementing the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
