On Thursday, the leaders of the Da Nang Newspaper played host to a visiting group from Japan’s Tokyo News Service Ltd, led by its Director, Mr Okuyama Taku.

Mr Taku thanked the newspaper’s editors for their warm welcome.  The visiting guest said that Tokyo News would send some of its interns to Da Nang for internships.  He also said he hoped that the city’s media agencies in general, and the Da Nang Newspaper in particular, would create the most favourable conditions possible for the interns during their stay in the city.

The Japanese director remarked that the internships would open up many bilateral cooperative opportunities between media agencies in Da Nang and Japan.  This will help to boost their exchange activities and share their experiences.  In addition, this will be the opportunity for Da Nang and Japan to advertise their remarkable achievements in terms of the economy, culture and society over the recent years.
