Viet Nam and Norway established diplomatic ties on November 25, 1971. In late 2014, Viet Nam offered visa exemption to Norwegian visitors so that they are allowed to enter and stay in Viet Nam for up to 15 days without visas regardless of passport types and purpose of visit.
