The Vietnamese official suggested the two sides further promote their existing close links through enhancing cooperation in defence, personnel training and all-level delegation exchanges.

He affirmed that the defence cooperation between the two countries contributes to maintaining peace and stability in the region.

For his part, Andrey committed to doing his utmost to step up the bilateral defence ties between the two nations.
