In recognition of the 90^th anniversary of Viet Nam's Revolutionary Press Day (21 June), Da Nang Party Committee Secretary Tran Tho recently visited and extended his best wishes to editors, reporters and staff members of the Da Nang Newspaper and those of the municipal Journalists' Association.

Secretary Tho highly praised the newspaper’s editors and its reporters for their great efforts in improving the quality of the newspaper publications in order to provide its readers with multi-dimensional information.  This has helped the organisation to strongly affirm its stated role as 'the voice of the party, government and people of Da Nang City'.

The city’s leader also took the opportunity to extend his congratulations to the municipal Journalists' Association for its recent successful 8^th Congress for the 2015 - 2020 tenure.

He stressed the need for local reporters, and those from the Da Nang Newspaper in particular, to uphold their responsibilities and make greater efforts for the city’s progress.  The focus should be on widely publicising the city’s Party congresses at all levels, along with local key tasks and projects.
